Why Nickel?
In the case of reactive steels:
- Avoid high coating thicknesses.
- Prevents the growth of the Fe-Zn alloy layer.
- Prevents dark gray coatings.
- Prevents coating peeling.
- Increases the homogeneity of the coating.
Saving of Zinc from 5 to 15% of the weight.
Increases the ductility of the coating.
Smoother and shinier surface finish.
Increases the fluidity of the Zn bath.
Aesthetic appearance of the coating.
